The Mechelen investigation into a Dutch company that offered synthetic drugs in our country is expanding. The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office confirms this. In addition to a fatal industrial accident in 2021, it can now also link a fatal fire in Sint-Katelijne-Waver to the investigation. “Just like the death of a man in his forties in Tervuren and the overdose of a student (18),” says public prosecutor Kato Belmans.
