“Today I spoke via videoconference with the mayors of almost 30 cities from the Association of European Cities under the European Commission (EUROCITIES). All mayors noted the political support of Ukraine and its struggle for its independence and freedom. They showed respect and admiration for the courage and heroism of Ukrainians. European colleagues stressed that they would continue to help Kiev and Ukraine. They also expressed their readiness to help restore the infrastructure that the Russian army is destroying and destroying today. I am convinced that we will win and rebuild our cities and our country,” Klitschko wrote.

He noted that the conference was attended by Dario Nardella, mayor of Florence, who is the president of EUROCITIES, mayors, in particular, of Oslo, Milan, Paris, Leipzig, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Barcelona, ​​Brussels, Toulouse, Tallinn, Vienna, Warsaw and other cities.

“Today these cities provide assistance to Ukrainian migrants, collect and send humanitarian aid, medicines, essential goods to our country,” Klitschko added.
