Unsurprisingly, the centrist LR-Union senatorial majority remains stable at the national level for these senatorial elections with, however, a slight decline in the LR group : “Overall, the senatorial majority emerges reinforced from this election. And the good news is that the left is progressing as a whole”.
In Reunion, the electors were called to the polls yesterday to elect the four new senators: “I send a Republican greeting to Viviane Malet, Évelyne Cobière and Stéphane Fouassin elected senators. I would also like to particularly congratulate Audrey Belim, elected senator and who came in second place. I can count on his commitment to come to the Senate to defend with conviction important issues to collectively move our island and our territories forward.
