The mayor of Montán demands from the Castellón Provincial Council the aid for rural taxi
Sergio Fornás, mayor of Montán (Castellón), has demanded more aid from the Castellón Provincial Council such as the rural taxi.
The City Council has already used 100% of the subsidy in the two exercises to which the municipality has had access “and which is a great success among the residents.”
He also recalled that in his case they do not have a Public Service, “a claim that we have been fighting for a long time and that the Department does not help us to solve” with which “the only way that the residents of Montán and other municipalities have is to use the rural taxi ”.
The residents of this population have to travel to Sagunto and Vila-real to see the doctor “and it is the responsibility of the mayors to publicize the service so that the neighbors use it.”
Fornás has asked the Diputación “to work for the populations of the interior and to maintain the commitments acquired to fight against depopulation.
