The mayor of Kyiv: Some Bulgarian politicians want both the wolf full and the lamb whole

The position of some Bulgarian politicians towards Ukraine is “Both the wolf is full and the lamb is whole”. They want to help Ukraine, but at the same time have good relations with Russia. Today the world is black and white. If you have business relations with Russia, it means that you support the war. This was said by the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko in front of the BTV camera.

Can you imagine someone shelling Sofia or other cities in Bulgaria in this way, Klitschko asked our politicians directly.

His position comes as a surprise amid a meeting between Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a day earlier, at which Zelensky thanked Bulgaria for its support. The Ukrainian Prime Minister thanked for the support in the field of military equipment, for the reception and shelter of women and children from Ukraine, as well as for the support of his country for its membership in the EU.

Hours later, however, a 25-storey new apartment building in Kyiv was shelled by two rockets fired from the Crimean peninsula. That is why Klitschko gave statements to various foreign media this morning, including BTV, which was in the Ukrainian capital.
