The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has asked the Government of the Region of Murcia, that part of the military trackers that have asked the Government of Spain carry out their work in Cartagena to stop the spread of the coronavirus in our municipality.
Castejón has said after the meeting held by the Board of Spokespersons of the Cartagena City Council that “we are aware that the situation in this municipality is not as alarming as it can be in the municipalities of Murcia or Lorca and precisely for that reason, because we want to prevent the spread from growing, we believe that the trackers come to Cartagena to help us control the situation. “
Castejón has requested the unity of action of all municipal groups and has again thanked them for their willingness to collaborate to control the health crisis.
“The mayor has made a appeal to young and old remembering the obligation to use masks, to maintain a safety distance and to wash your hands regularly “.
