the mayor of Bron threatened with beheading again

The mayor of Bron, near Lyon, announced that he would file a complaint after the discovery of new inscriptions threatening him with death.

The mayor Les Républicains de Bron, Jérémie Bréaud, has again been threatened with death via tags discovered on Monday. On his Facebook page, Jérémie Bréaud published a snapshot of the tags discovered. “Bréaud T dead FDP decapitation”, we can read. The inscriptions also insult the police.

The latter were found on the fence of a parking lot in the Parilly district, reports Progress. Since the inscriptions are only visible when entering a construction site, the authorities are not certain of the day on which they were made.

“Through me, it is all the elected officials who act who are targeted. It is high time that Justice is up to the current challenges of our society and when it manages to seize these individuals, it must condemn them with the greatest firmness, “said the mayor of Bron on his Facebook page”

“No one can threaten anyone with death without having to fear justice”, adds Jérémie Bréaud, who specifies that he will file a complaint “in the coming hours”. An investigation was opened by the Bron police station.

The mayor already threatened with death

The mayor of Bron had already been threatened with death twice last October. Chalk inscriptions targeting the city councilor and the police were discovered in early October on a city wall following an anti-drug operation.

The mayor had also been threatened with beheading on October 22 via tags discovered in several places in Bron. Jérémie Bréaud, who then received the support of the Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin, had lodged a complaint twice.
