Victim of the blows he suffered during a tragic motorcycle accident, lawyer Jorge Mario Bolívar Tovar died this Sunday in Armenia.
According to the Quindío Ombudsman, Juan Camilo Mesa Velásquez, Bolívar Tovar died yesterday at 5:30 in the afternoon.
Bolívar had an accident on his motorcycle on Saturday morning when he was traveling between the Chambimbal – San Antonio townships, Valle del Cauca.
Rescuers provided preliminary assistance and then transferred him to the San José de Buga Hospital, where the doctors undertook all kinds of efforts to save his life, but with unsuccessful results.
The professional was the attorney for the mayor of Armenia in a process that is being followed by the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation for alleged irregularities in the hiring to attend the health emergency of COVID-19.
The rector of the University of Quindío, José Fernando Echeverry Murillo, deplored the death of the professional who graduated from his classrooms.
The mayor of Armenia, José Manuel Ríos, also lamented the disappearance of Bolívar.
