In response to the words of the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, yesterday, Thursday, about the movements of the people in Ain Ebel, its mayor, Imad Al-Loos, issued the following statement: “Where is the incitement, His Excellency Minister Bassil, in civil gatherings to pray, light candles, and demand that the perpetrators be revealed after forty years have passed? A day after the assassination that targeted the martyr Elias Al-Hasrouni, nicknamed Hantoush, especially since the investigation did not lead to anything.”
He added, “Your words, Your Excellency Minister, are incitement itself. Christians on the outskirts are rooted in their land, and no force can uproot them from it.”
