A plastic surgeon from the United Kingdom has used a mathematical formula that measures the symmetry and perfection of the face, to determine which are the 10 most attractive famous men in the world. The golden ratio based on the Greek number Phi has been used by artists for centuries, including Leonardo Da Vinci, to define ideal human proportions.
According to this calculation, the closer the proportions of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more aesthetically pleasing they will be.
The formula
The most handsome. According to the analysis based on the golden ratio of Dr. Julian De Silva, an expert surgeon in procedures for the face and neck, the British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 34, would be the most handsome man in the world, with an almost perfect score of 93.04%.
His score of 93.04% surpasses those of Sean Connery (89.2%), Roger Moore (88.8%) and even Daniel Craig (84.2%),” De Silva wrote on his Instagram account. X. Aaron’s face shape reached a score of 99.2 %, with very high notes in most of its features, such as the width and length of its nose, ”almost perfect” with 98.8 %.
Scores that fell below 90% were the distance between the eyes, the space between the nose and lip, and the lips. Second place went to another British actor, Lucien Laviscount, from the series Emily and Pariswith 92.41%, while the third most handsome celebrity would be the star of ‘Gladiator II’, Paul Mescal, with 92.38%.
