The 54-year-old civil engineer was involved in the action as a project manager right from the start. When traffic rolls over the New Danube Bridge from autumn 2021, it will be anything but sad: “There are enough other things to do. We don’t just build bridges, but also roads and tunnels. And with such a large project, things don’t always go smoothly. But despite some difficulties, we managed to implement the architecture statically. It was really a challenge. A bridge with this look and this statics is unique to date. “
Quality control
In his free time, the Leondinger is out skiing or hiking in the mountains. Professionally, management tasks are just as much a part of it as construction meetings or guided tours of the construction site. And yes, it has already stood on top of the first fixed component: “For quality control. We take every weld seam not only visually, but also with an ultrasound device. “
