Presented by Laurent Ruquierthe principle is simple: twelve celebrities have received a mysterious invitation to participate in an investigation game in a sumptuous residence cut off from the world. Everyone was invited by the same person, the “game master”. Thanks to a whole bunch of tests and clues scattered here and there on site, the twelve celebrities will have to guess which star is playing with them.

But their investigation risks quickly going awry, because the master of the game has designated an accomplice among the celebrities whose sole objective will be to sabotage it and deliberately lead the others on false trails.
The challenge for them will therefore be twofold: finding the true identity of their mystery host and unmasking the double agent. At stake: 100,000 euros for associations defended by celebrities.

Halfway between The traitors or Who is the mole? on M6 and the board game Cluedo the launch of Game Master is doubly risky. On the one hand, for TF1, which is trying to renew its prime time entertainment here, what’s more with a French creation.
On the other hand, for Laurent Ruquier, who will find himself for the first time at the head of a prime time program on TF1 since his transfer from France 2. As a reminder, he had joined the jury of Mask Singer for its sixth season last spring and hosted the second evening entertainment sessions in place of Camille Combal this season.
