The master and the customer

I read that work is not the goal of life, but a means to reach a state in which everyone can live according to their own taste. According to a pre-World War II publication – the French don’t like to work. However, it is true that when a job is undertaken, it is usually performed imprecisely but excellently. There is no urgent work, the urge is completely futile. The finished work should not be criticized, because we are not offending the “work”, but the “person of the creator”! It is better if you visit the master while he is working and, in the framework of a relaxed conversation, try to persuade him to take into account not only his own interests, but also, exceptionally, the client’s interests. What a familiar story, maybe not so utopian.
