On Thursday, NASA scientists revealed details of the mysterious impact that shook Mars on December 24, 2021, recorded by the InSight lander. The researchers sent the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter probe to the Red Planet. It turned out that a meteorite was behind the impact. The recorded images showed something extraordinary. Scientists: “It’s the largest new crater we’ve ever seen.”
