Also this year fifteen celebrities will compete with each other singing in the most special costumes and hidden behind masks. Presenter Ruben Nicolai supervises the two panels, consisting of Carlo Boszhard and Loretta Schrijver and Gerard Joling and Buddy Vedder, in their search for the identity of the participants.
The public decides by voting for their favorite who should reveal themselves and leave the competition. The fate of the candidates is therefore in your hands. Shooting takes place in August, September and early October. There is one small caveat: due to the secrecy of who is in which suit, the public can unfortunately not be present at the unveiling. And there is even more good news: the third season, which is being made in the Netherlands, will receive extra broadcasts ‘because it is such a great success’. Jury member Gerard Joling recently revealed this in The Telegraph.
Our own John van den Heuvel was featured on the podium of The Masked Singer. Afterwards, we spoke to him and the crime reporter revealed that he had been asked several times on the popular program.
