The manager of Parque Marítimo, Daniel Cañibano, explained in Hoy por Hoy Tajaraste that the complex is at 50% of its capacity to comply with the health regulations derived from the Covid. Cañibano has added that, as the high season of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Maritime Park is about to begin, on weekends they are already touching those 1,700 people who represent half the capacity.
As for the public that comes to enjoy the pools, it is mostly chicharrero, although it is true that some foreigners can be seen. In any case, it foresees that the presence of the public of other nationalities will be reinforced when the arrival of cruise ships to the capital port is resumed.
