The Marcos Ana municipal library of San Sebastián de los Reyes has started a new flea market in which he will give away books and magazines to the neighborswith the aim of promoting reading and distributing the volumes that it keeps in its warehouse.
Among the copies that are delivered there are some that have been previously lent to users and others that are “absolutely new and without any sign of use”although in all cases they are in good condition, says the Consistory in a note.
The volumes will be exhibited for three weeks in a table area at the entrance to the center, where children’s books, DVDs and magazines are also offered. In addition, the center encourages residents to leave the copies they have at home and no longer want, so that other citizens can pick them up.
This is an initiative that the library celebrates annually to encourage reading among all ages.
