The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Gourmand Committee is organizing, with the Region, the “Market of taste” to be held this Wednesday at Place Bellecour in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon.
In total, more than 80 producers and artisans from all over the region come to taste the best Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes products from 8:30 to 20:00. Cured meats, dairy products, honey, wine, sweets, fruit and vegetables… There is something for all tastes.
“The taste market is in particular the promotion of regional productions and the pride of our producers and artisans.“Explains the Gourmand Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes committee, in a press release.
There will also be various agri-food sectors, trade unions and organizations for the defense of the management of the region’s denominations. They will offer educational and fun activities that highlight agricultural products.
During the day a competition is organized to try to win many gifts, including regional products from producers on the market.
