This Monday, the first fatal victim of the coronavirus in Beijing, capital of China, was confirmed. A North American university created a map that allows to follow the evolution of the problem.
A 50-year-old man who was in the city of Wuhan died of respiratory failure after having symptoms of fever. With this death, the total number of fatalities from the coronavirus rises to 82.
The number of infected people, in turn, has already exceeded 2700 people. In addition to mainland China, cases of infection have also been reported in Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, United States, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal, Malaysia, France, Australia and Canada.
And the virus knows no borders, with cases already registered in the USA and on European soil. In Frabça alone, three cases are confirmed. However, Johns Hopkins University in the USA has developed an interactive map on which to track the locations where the virus has already arrived.
