The Galician elections of 2020 have met expectations and have been the winner to the PP of Alberto Núñez Feijóo with 41 seats in the Parliament of Galicia. The Galician leader has managed to reissue the absolute majority for the fourth time in a row, which gives him the presidency of the Xunta again.
The parties of the progressive bloc are still unable to add more than the PP of Galicia. PSdeG and BNG add a total of 35 seats, far from the absolute majority. For their part, En Marea, Ciudadanos and Vox have been achieved without representation.
The PP manages to win in all the provinces, establishing itself as the most voted party, as you can see in the map that accompanies these lines.
A coruña
In the province of A Coruña the winner is the PP, which has won 14 of the 25 seats corresponding to the constituency, by gathering 49% of the votes in the territory. Next is BNG with 24% of the votes and 7 seats. The third force, PSdeG, obtained 4 seats thanks to the support of 16% of the Coruña.
In Santiago de Compostela The trend is the same as in the province: the PP is the most voted force with 48% of the votes, followed by BNG, which gathers 28% of the support of Compostelans. The third preferred force in the capital of the Board is PSdeG with 14% of the votes of the electors.
In the city of A Coruña, the PP has achieved the first position with 45% of the votes. BNG is the second most voted force in the Coruña town with 24% of the ballots. PSdeG is in third place with 18% of the support.
Lugo
In the Lugo district 14 deputies were distributed, of which 8 have gone to the PP, the most voted party in the province, with 53% of the electoral support. The BNG formation reaches 20% of the votes, which gives it 3 deputies. Behind, PSdeG has taken 3 and a little less support than the BNG.
If we stick to the capital in the province, the party that has garnered the greatest number of support has been PP with 50% of the votes. The second most voted force is BNG with 23% of the votes. The PSdeG formation is the third largest force in the town, with 18% of the support from Lugo.
Ourense
The province of Ourense It has granted 8 of the 14 seats that correspond to the PP, which becomes the most voted force in the constituency by convincing 53% of the inhabitants of the province. 3 seats have gone to PSdeG, the second option in the province, while the BNG is behind with 3 seats, the same as the Socialists, although with fewer votes.
In the capital the party that has gathered the most support among the population has been the PP, with 44% of the total votes in the capital. Next, BNG has obtained 24% of the support, while PSdeG is in third position with 21% of the total.
Pontevedra
The constituency of Pontevedra determined the last 22 seats of the Xunta de Galicia, which have been distributed as follows: 11 correspond to the PP, which has gathered 42% of the votes of the voters of Pontevedra. The BNG formation obtained 6 minutes in the Galician Parliament thanks to 24% of the votes, and PsdeG obtained 5 seats by reaching 23% of the electorate.
In the capital pontevedresa, 43% went to the PP, the most voted party in the town. It is followed by BNG with 27% of the support, and in third place PSdeG, which convinced 5% of the voters.
