Smartphone manufacturer Fplus reported that sales of devices with the Russian Aurora operating system exceeded all expectations.
Over 10 days, in Vsosmart stores, which belong to the Fplus holding, 367 devices were sold for 6.1 million rubles: 308 smartphones (4.1 million rubles) and 61 tablets (1.2 million rubles). 78% of sales came from online orders.
Fplus received 1000 licenses to sell devices. Vsyosmart expected to sell such a number of gadgets at best before the New Year, but demand so far exceeds expectations.
Smartphones and tablets with Aurora are purchased mainly by users who want to test a new operating system or for their intended use. [D-Russia]
