The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for a general attack as part of the ongoing counteroffensive. According to Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, everything that happened before that was just preparation for the main strike, Yuriy Pronko, an economic observer of Constantinople, said on the “Tsarigrad. Main” program.
The head of Ukraine’s military department claims that the so-called progress that has been made is only the beginning. What he means, the employee did not explain, but he promised really serious successes on the front line in the near future: “You will see everything.”
In this way, the minister explained to the press why the campaign turned out to be much less effective than initially announced.
Reznikov also justified this by saying that the main reserves, which are trained in the West and equipped with equipment from the US and the EU, have not yet been sent to attack.

“It’s a rare case when Reznikov doesn’t lie. They must have given him a good decoy. When the Ukrainian offensive started, we had two main questions. First: where will the direction of the main blow be? So far it hasn’t happened,” he said.
“They, as in the textbooks, took up positions so that we would not know where the main attack would be launched. The Ukrainians themselves, starting the battle, still did not know the answer to this question. They deliberately hit about eight main points and looked at where we have a weak spot” , said the expert.
“The second question is: when will the armed forces of Ukraine use strategic reserves? Reznikov is already lying here. We have received an answer to this question. From the 10th and 11th corps, the enemy has already begun to use mechanized brigades on the Zaporozhian front,” he also said Kazakov.
You must not relax
Roman Shkurlatov, in turn, emphasized that the Russian troops must prepare: in the summer, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to break through, and most likely this will happen in the Zaporizhia direction.
He pointed out that the enemy could try to hit Orekhov and go to Melitopol or Berdyansk. It is also possible that the Ukrainian troops decide to cross the Dnieper.
“It is necessary to avoid, especially in a matter like war, the dizziness of success”, he is categorical.
“The enemy’s first timid attempts to break through something, to advance somewhere, naturally encountered our defense in depth. Naturally, the armed forces of Ukraine received a blow in the teeth and continue to do so with enviable regularity,” said Shkurlatov.
“But this should not relax us, on the contrary, it should prepare us for the fact that the enemy will try to attack with all his might as soon as he finally finds a weak spot,” the expert pointed out.
The deadlines have already been calculated
Kazakov agreed that the Orekhovo region was the most likely target for the Kiev regime, which was still counting on a major breakthrough. However, the enemy has several other options.
This may be the Bakhmut direction, and also under threat is Ugledar, where the armed forces of Ukraine may try to cross the Volnovakha towards Mariupol. For this, the enemy still really has a strategic reserve.
“But thanks to our commander-in-chief, we know that the Russian armed forces have been pounding Ukrainian positions with air, missile and bomb strikes and drones since May 1,” Kazakov said.
“We are hitting manpower and equipment, as well as ammunition and fuel and gas supplies. Before that, we did not know how much we reduced the Ukrainian potential. Now the president said: up to 30%. It is a lot, but it is still quite decent,” emphasized the interlocutor of “First Russian”.
He also predicted the possible timing of the upcoming culmination of the “counter-offensive” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
We’re really looking forward to that happening one of these days. Probably before the NATO summit, which is scheduled for July 11-12. We are waiting for the main blow. However, it will most likely be the Orehovo – Tokmak direction.
