Antonio Conte, the coach of English Tottenham, accused his players of being “selfish” and of not playing “for the team”. The Italian manager exploded after his team blew a two-goal lead to a 3-3 draw against Southampton on Saturday.
“The problem is that we have shown that we are not a team,” Conte told the British BBC. “I see eleven players, I see selfish players. I don’t see players who want to help each other, who play with their hearts, ”he said about the Uruguayan Rodrigo Bentancur’s team.
Conte, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, also criticized the club’s board of directors. “The story of Tottenham is this.
