According to information available to “Lursoft”, Andris Vilcmeiers has left the position of the chairman of the board in the company “Spar Latvija”, which manages the store network “Spar” in our country.
The Dutch retail brand “Spar” expands its operations in Latvia according to the franchise principle. “Spar Latvija” has a contract with “Spar International”, which is the exclusive holder of this brand. “Spar Latvija” as a franchisor attracts other companies that open “Spar” stores in our country. At the same time, in an interview with “Delfi Bizness” last fall, Vilcmeier did not rule out the possibility that “Spar Latvija” could also open its own stores.

On March 27, Andris Barlots was appointed to the board of SIA “Spar Latvija”, who holds the position of board member.
