Banjar News, (harapanrakyat.com), – The issue of the authority to manage the animal market in Banjar City, West Java, which is located in the Dobo neighborhood of Pataruman Village, seems to be still a polemic and has not yet come to light.
It is known that the issue of the authority to manage the animal market arose ahead of the sacrificial festival one month ago.
At that time, the Banjar City DPRD Commission II planned to hold a coordination meeting with partners to resolve the issue.
Reconfirmed regarding the settlement of the animal market issue, Chairman of Commission II of the Banjar City DPRD, Asep Saefurrohmat, said that until now his party had not received the latest report from the relevant agencies.
The completion of the management of the animal market, according to him, is currently still hampered by the absence of a governance organization structure (SOTK).
“There has been no report from the related OPD. The problem is in SOTK,” said Asep Saefurrohmat to HR Online, Wednesday (20/7/2022).

He continued, even so, his party had coordinated directly with the KUKMP Service and the Food Security Service, to resolve the problem.
“We just happened to be on the pitch. We recommend that we sit down together to discuss the issue with the organization section,” he said.
Banjar Animal Market Don’t Become A Standing Asset
Previously, the chairman of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) Banjar City, Awal Muzaki Al-Kautsar, warned that the resolution of the management authority issue would not drag on.
It is feared that if the condition of the animal market is left too long, it will potentially become a stalled asset because there is no economic activity in it.
Should, said Awal, the DPRD and the government must also firmly resolve the issue of the authority to manage the market so that the existing potential can be maximized.
“The longer it is left unmanaged, there will be a stall in the animal market because there is no economic activity in it,” said Awal Muzaki in Banjar City. (Muhlisin/R8/HR Online/Jujang Editor)
