A man enraged by his fiancé tortured his victim for hours in Oulu in November 2023, says the prosecutor.

The enraged man dragged the woman into the bathroom of the apartment and threw drain cleaner on her twice. After that, the man poured all-purpose cleaner into the woman’s mouth.

The violence continued for hours, so that the man sprayed water on the woman in a torture-like manner. Finally, the man cut the woman’s hair.

Based on the shocking subpoena application, the act did not end there.

According to the prosecutor, the man first slept for a while and when he woke up, he got angry again. He dragged her from the bed back to the bathroom, sat on top of her and stuffed toilet paper into her mouth. According to the prosecutor, the woman finally lost consciousness and died when the man pressed her neck with the edge of the bucket.

The woman’s cause of death was ultimately suffocation caused by strangulation and inhaling water.

The prosecutor demands a life sentence for the 35-year-old man’s murder. According to the prosecutor, the murder was committed in a particularly brutal and cruel way.
