A man was shot at at his home on the Titanpad in Eindhoven on Friday evening. This happened around a quarter past five. His condition is very critical, a police spokesperson said at around 10:00.

The perpetrators fled, but around a quarter past six the police managed to arrest two suspects on President Steynstraat in Eindhoven. “Their possible involvement is now being investigated further. They have been taken to the police station. The investigation continues unabated.”

The victim was taken to hospital with several gunshot wounds after officers provided first aid. The area around the house has been cordoned off.
