A man was shot at at his home on the Titanpad in Eindhoven on Friday evening. This happened around a quarter past five. His condition is very critical, a police spokesperson said at around 10:00.
The perpetrators fled, but around a quarter past six the police managed to arrest two suspects on President Steynstraat in Eindhoven. “Their possible involvement is now being investigated further. They have been taken to the police station. The investigation continues unabated.”
Multiple gunshot wounds
The victim was taken to hospital with several gunshot wounds after officers provided first aid. The area around the house has been cordoned off.
For the time being, police have no indications that this shooting is related to the explosion that took place on Friday evening in the Tongelresestraat in Eindhoven.

The road was closed around the house where the two suspects were arrested. “Officers wearing extra heavy armor are conducting a search of the house,” a 112 correspondent said. “There’s something in an alley near the house on the corner that looks like a suit. There’s a trellis here. “
A car parked in front of the house was also seized. It was removed with a tow truck.
