Over 800 applicants entered this year’s 22nd year of the competition. In the finals, 12 men aged 22 to 29 competed on the stage of the Náchod Theater.

The contestants introduced themselves to the audience during shows in lingerie, in formal suits, they had to deal with a question from a famous person. The competition also included free discipline for one minute. Competitors performed various exercises, acrobatics, singing, dog training or sabras, ie cutting the neck of a bottle of champagne saber.

The winner of the Man of the Year competition was Lukáš Vyšehrad (center) from Hradec Králové. Jiří Perout (right) from Jestřebí u Blanska finished in second place. Dominik Chabr (left) from Most took third place.

The winners will represent the Czech Republic at the international competitions Mister Grand International, Mister Supranational, Man of the World and Man of the Year, said the organizer of the competition Man of the Year David Novotný.
