The 62-year-old man who was injured in a fire at his home in the Plovdiv village of Krumovo has died. The fire broke out at 10 p.m. on February 3. Three fire trucks were sent to the scene of the fire. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but the damage was extensive. As a result of the accident, there were also two victims – a 62-year-old man with burns and his wife with physical injuries. They were taken to hospital. Unfortunately, the man has passed away.
The tragedy was an occasion for the mayor of the village, Rumyana Samokovareva, to make an important appeal.
“Dear residents of the village of Krumovo, dear friends, in critical situations the time for action comes. A few days ago in our village there was an incident in which a family was left without a roof as a result of a fire, and a few days later, unfortunately, one of the victims lost life. At this extremely difficult and difficult time for the family, please everyone who is able to join in the action to clear the debris from the fire! On 02/09/2023 (Thursday) at 9:00 a.m. everyone who is able and desire to volunteer to help the injured, can come to 93 “Khan Krum” Street. Let’s, as we have done many times, lend a hand to those in need again!”.
