One person was injured in the fire, reports the news agency “Interfax”, referring to the press center of the Emergencies Ministry.
The flames first engulfed building materials near the “StrojTrakt” construction hypermarket.
Subsequently the flames spread to the first floor of the building, the roof collapsed. The total area of u200bu200bthe fire reached 10,000 square meters, reports “Interfax”.
This is not the first major fire in Moscow and Peri-Moscow recently.
On December 9, the “Mega Khimki” shopping center caught fire on the border of the city and district of Moscow. The flames spread over an area between 7,000 and 18,000 square meters. A guard was killed.
On November 21, a large fire broke out in a flower warehouse in the so-called three-station district of Moscow.
