The Málaga Foundation presents ‘Yo Fui Picasso’, a podcast about the universal artist

The Malaga Foundationin collaboration with El Buque Producciones of the Minichaplin group, has participated in the presentation of I was Picassoan innovative sound fiction in podcast format. This initiative, supported by Málaga Foundation and the Culture Area of ​​the Provincial Councilseeks to immerse listeners in the life and mind of the Malaga genius through a unique perspective.

The public presentation and premiere of I was Picasso It took place in the assembly hall of the Picasso’s Christmas House and was attended by the president of Fundación Málaga, Juan Cobalea, who has had an outstanding participation in this presentation, expressing his gratitude to the promoters of the project for their initiative. This project, supported by the Málaga Foundation, the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the UMA, and the digital printing group Copicentre, focuses on the story of six meetings between Mati, a doctoral student in Art, and Medina, a veteran actor. Together, they explore various aspects of Picasso’s life and art through intimate and revealing conversations.

Each chapter addresses a specific topic, from politics to Picasso’s personal relationships, his complex psychology and his artistic legacy. The series delves into both the present of the conversation and the past, offering historical recreations to contextualize the topics discussed.
