the majority stake in the Keez cloud accounting start-up

Daniel Mateescu, founder of Keez: Keez continues to operate independently and follow the same strategy that began three years ago. Investing has always been a priority and I have said it publicly many times: in IT you can’t stop investing in development. The transaction made with Visma supports our strategy and will impress a dynamic as the opportunities offered by the Romanian market.

“The transaction made with Visma supports our strategy and will impress a dynamic as the opportunities offered by the Romanian market,” says Daniel Mateescu.

The majority stake in Keez, the local technology start-up that launched an online platform for small business and PFA accounting about three years ago, was bought by Norwegians from Visma, who also bought on local plan in 2019 and SmartBill, a billing and management solution for SMEs.

“We are delighted to join forces with an international player as strong as Visma. With their experience and resources, we will be able to focus on continuous development and everything that is valuable to our customers. We will continue to operate independently and follow the same strategy started 3 years ago, “said Daniel Mateescu, founder and CEO of Keez.
