An opinion poll by Helsingin Sanomat shows that only 25 percent of Finns think that the government of Petteri Orpo (cok) has made or will make Finland a better place to live. On the other hand, 56 percent believe that the government is weakening living conditions in Finland.
Only 17 percent of women believe that the government will take Finland in a better direction, while 64 percent believe that it will worsen living conditions. For men, 32 percent believe that the government will succeed in improving living conditions, while 47 percent estimate that the situation will worsen.
The survey also shows that more than half of the respondents who support the Kokomo and Fundamental Finns believe in the government’s actions, while the supporters of RKP and KD have a different view.
According to HS, the people’s opinion has not changed much since last May, when a similar survey was conducted.
HS’s opinion survey was carried out by Veria (formerly Kantar) on 18.–22. October 1,150 Finns were interviewed for the study.
