The boat makes nearly thirty rotations a year, from April to December, from Southampton, Le Havre or Cherbourg, to New York and sometimes Boston or Miami. The ship belongs to the British company Cunardowhich also owns Queen Elisabeth and Queen Victoria, and is preparing to put the Queen Anne into circulation in 2024.
The Queen Mary 2 was built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France and commissioned in 2004. At 345 meters long, 41 meters wide and 148,528 tons, the prestigious Queen Mary 2 was launched in 2003, the largest ocean liner in the world, with its 17 decks served by 37 elevators. This ship with classic and elegant lines is manned by a crew of 1253 sailors and can accommodate 2691 passengers.
