Initially, police and judicial sources had stated that the main hypothesis of the crime could have been a settling of scores, but as the investigation progressed, the detectives involved in the case deepened the clue of a homicide during a robbery.

Saulle was shot on Thursday, August 8 at 6:40 p.m., when he arrived at his parents’ house, on Pablo Podestá street at 300, in Burzaco. Buenos Aires police officers arrived at the Espora Clinic, where they first spoke with Patricio, the neighbor, and then with the victim’s father, who could not give details of what happened to his son due to the “nervous state” he was experiencing.
The investigation was carried out by the Leonardo Kaszewski, the public prosecutor of Lomas de Zamorawhich has the collaboration of staff from the Departmental Delegation of Investigations (DDI) of Lomas de Zamora.
The first thing the police and judicial detectives did was to reconstruct, from footage from public and private security cameras, the escape route of the black Peugeot 208 in which the murderers were travelling.
“A minute-by-minute reconstruction of the murderers’ journey was possible. Using a license plate reader, the car’s license plate number was determined and a white sticker was seen on the rear window,” police sources explained.
Based on a comparison of the license plate, investigators determined that the car had been stolen 48 hours earlier in the jurisdiction of the 10th police station in Lanús.
Analysis of security camera footage led investigators to Glew, also in the Almirante Brown district.
“The last film recording of the vehicle was at Arias and Santa Fe, at 18:56 on the day of the attack. A survey was made of the neighborhood until the car in which the criminals were traveling was found in the yard of one of the houses. It was covered with a nylon sheet,” explained police sources.

Bercesi was arrested and charged with the crime of aggravated concealment of car theft. When questioned by prosecutor Kaszewski, she refused to testify and did not repeat what she had told the police officers who had raided her home to seize the car. Shortly afterward, She was released from prison.
“A fingerprint was found on the driver’s door handle, which will now be analysed,” police sources said.
The court ordered the arrest of Gómez, the brother-in-law of the “cover-up” who was a fugitive until today. He will be questioned tomorrow.
