One of the major improvements that the current generation of consoles brought was the ability to pick up where you left off when you put the console into standby mode. That way you don’t have to go through the full start-up screen every time and experience all the loading times. With the Xbox Series X, Quick Resume returns and is even improved. It will be possible to put several games in a kind of sleep mode and switch between them. Useful when you go crazy with Halo Infinite, but your kids want to play Fortnite. When they are ready, you can immediately go through this function.

And when you go crazy on the Xbox Series X with a game, the loading times themselves will be considerably reduced. It may take a little longer than on the PlayStation 5, where this may be the most important feature, but it will certainly be shorter. An example of this was given some time ago with State of Decay 2. Where that game on Xbox One X takes 50 seconds to load a savefile, the same game does that on the new platform in 8 seconds. That is a significant step forward.
Visual improvements
Of course, this is a shot for open aim, but games released on the Xbox Series X will take advantage of the improved power of the new game console. If we look purely at the specs, this will be the most powerful game console on the market. Expect games that can eventually run at 120 FPS or in 8K resolution. In addition, you can also write down improved lighting effects thanks to the ray tracing techniques.

If you have currently invested a lot in the various accessories for the Xbox One, you can simply take them with you to the Xbox Series X.
