The main indicators of the Covid-19 pandemic have not changed this Saturday compared to the previous day, with the exception of a slight decrease in the number of new positives.
Thus, according to the latest data from the Cantabrian Health Service (SCS), corresponding to the close of the 11th, three new cases of coronavirus have been detected among people over 60 years of age — the only age group for which community transmission data is offered. –, which are one less than the previous day.
In this way, in the last seven days, 45 coronavirus positives have been confirmed in people over 60 years of age, which amount to 75 to 14 days.
The cumulative incidence at 14 days has remained at 43 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 26 the cumulative rate at seven days. Both parameters are at controlled risk, like Cantabria as a whole.
As for those hospitalized, there are still eight, with a hospital occupancy rate of 0.5%, and one is still admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which has an occupancy rate of 0.8%.
Of the total hospitalized, five are in the Marqus de Valdecilla University Hospital, including the ICU; two in the Laredo Hospital and one in Reinosa.
Cantabria has not added any new deaths from Covid-19 in the last few hours, so they have remained at 1,019 since the start of the pandemic.
