Latvian Television has created a modern original program for preschool children “Bardaks attic”, in which from Saturday mornings on September 25, everyone will have the opportunity to creatively and surprisingly find out the big truths and take care of the small joys of life.
As in many homes and their attics, the show will feature a real Bardak. He confuses all things, regularly loses thoughts, moods and generally feels confused. That’s why children come to the attic every day to have fun and try to help Bardak make it a little clear why we’re so different, how the stars form, how the internet works, how to start with emotions, how to share with sisters and brothers, how to take care of pets, how to make a robot, how not to overeat sweets, how to sort waste and freeze everything around.
Bardaks, in turn, will teach children how not to be perfect and not be afraid to be different, natural and human.
Bardak will be helped by the objects in the attic: a burqa full of creative ideas and emotions, a Needle endowed with a sharp mind and tongue, a Radio open to the world, music and news, as well as a slightly dusty and lonely boot.
“The aim of the show is to meet, talk, get to know yourself and the world. We want children not to be afraid to tell stories! Every series, every Saturday will be a great adventure, ”
said LTV director Zane Gargažina.
For the first time, an original program for children has been created on Latvian Television, introducing creative digital solutions – 3D images. The artist Madara Botmane not only created Bardaka’s costume and image, but also participated in the creation of attic scenography and digital images – Burka, Needle, Radio and Boot: “I looked at these images as things and looked for prototypes of well-known people in Latvia. I found, but would not like to reveal exactly who they are. I have a feeling that in such a show, the earth must be real, but the earthworm digital, because it is demanded by today’s children. Through such a prism, they are now looking at the world. ”
The images were also created by artists Aija Baumane, Mārtiņš Dāboliņš, Jurģis Peters and Alvis Misjuns.
“Bardaks lēniņi” was written by LTV Children’s, Youth and Entertainment programs. The show was created by director Zane Gargažina, screenwriter Liene Bērziņa. In the role of Bardaka – actor Raivis Mediss.
The title song of the show was written by Jānis Šipkēvics or Shipsi, while Zane Dombrovska will take care of the image of the title songs and the musical design of the show.
“Bardaks attic” will be shown on LTV air on Saturdays on September 25 at 9.15 and Bērnistaba.lsm.lv, where a wide range of additional content will also be available.
