AN ODE TO MUSIC
Sfhir skillfully used the shape of the building, including the light well, to integrate the mural into the structure, creating a magnificent musical instrument played by a cellist. “When you see it, its immensity not only makes you feel small, but it also captivates you and you can’t look away,” they say from SAC.
“The lovely thing is that At night it seems to come to life: in the mast area, When the neighbors turn on the lights on the stairs, the frets of the cello light up, creating a visual wonder,” they add.
The mural, with a musical theme, pays tribute to Perla, a popular cultural center in the region that was demolished years ago. The artists participating in the Perla Mural Fest performed works related to music, which included instruments, musical notes, iconic artists and references to the musical history of the town and Galicia in general.

“I ONLY KNOW I CAN’T STOP”
A phrase written on a New York train left its mark on him forever: “I just know I can’t stop.” Hugo Lomas, better known as Sfhir, He discovered graffiti art at the age of 14 and artistic exploration is the key to his evolution.
Lomas has experimented with multitude of techniques, chiseling each detail in a laborious, almost obsessive way, until achieving the crudest hyperrealism. In his works, he combines graffiti with different tools such as airbrushes, guns, brushes or rollers.
His works can be seen in many countries: Italy, Spain, Portugal, China, North America, Netherlands, Finland, Germany, England, Belgium…
