According to him, residents in Tanah Merah hold the area’s IMB, not individual IMB. “Yes, in that case, the area permit. So it’s only for recognizing buildings, but not for land,” said Suhaena in Jakarta on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
He emphasized that the IMB for the area issued was only permitted to construct buildings, it had nothing to do with land. “IMB is for buildings only, not for land. The owner is only the building,” he said.
So, Suhaena says they are legal to leave the place legally. “Yes, it’s like that (legal people live there),” he concluded.
