This cultural event will culminate on Thursday, May 27 from 6:00 pm with the National Gala, which will feature the Colombian Music Philharmonic and will be seen live on the TRO Channel and the social networks of the Luis A. Calvo Auditorium and of the TUI.

This group is made up of fifteen young people between 18 and 26 years old, students or professionals of bandola, guitar, tiple and double bass, which is why it constitutes a learning space and the first professional practice for its members.

They perform music from the highlands and the mountain range in the center of the country, a vast area in which genres such as bambuco, torbellino, corridor, guabina and dance, among others, stand out.

Under the direction of maestro Jorge Andrés Arbeláez, renowned director, arranger and musical educator, the Philharmonic of Colombian Music has highlighted the talent of young performers with the aim of appropriating, maintaining and captivating the spirit of Colombian music, especially of Andean music.
