For almost a decade, the world began to know the first ‘youtubers’. That term, which basically designates a creator of digital content for the YouTube social network, had never been heard before.
In fact, at that time, no one would have imagined the growth that this type of worker currently has and that, for the majority, allows them to lead the life of millionaires.
The advertising schedule is one of the businesses with which these content creators work and that allows them to receive millions of pesos from brands, just for making a mention on their different social networks. In Colombia, a creator of this type can charge a brand from $2,000,000 to $20,000,000, or even more, for advertising them.

How much do youtubers earn in the world?
According to a study carried out by European researchers, coming more specifically from Spain, the Netherlands and Australia, these content creators can start to see a real increase in their earnings after they surpass 100,000 subscribers.
The research, titled ‘Making a Living in the Creator Economy: A Large-Scale Study of Linking on YouTube’, found that YouTube channels with between 100,000 and 1 million subscribers earn an average of US$16,346, which at the Colombian exchange rate is approximately 67 million pesos per year.
Regarding the channels with more followers, these have much higher earnings. If a channel has between 1 and 10 million subscribers, the content creator can earn about $165,892, which is about 680 million Colombian pesos per year.
The exorbitant number is that of youtubers who have more than 10 million subscribers. On average, these channels generate an average of 1,707,446 dollars per year, which corresponds to some 7,000 million Colombian pesos.
Because of the perceived earnings, it is very easy for a content creator to rent a yacht, buy a mansion, a Rolls Royce and other luxuries that until recently were only reserved for the world’s great tycoons and sharks.

Who are the richest youtuber children on the planet?
The figures are gigantic. The two biggest influencer children in the world – worth the oxymoron – accumulate annual earnings of 55 million dollars, according to the latest list of Forbes magazine on the 10 richest youtubers on the planet.
At the top of the kids influencer list is Anastasia Radzinskaya, better known as Nastya. A seven-year-old Russian girl who was born with cerebral palsy. In order to document her recovery process, her parents began to record a series of videos that they later posted on YouTube for her family and friends to see. The first videos were broadcast in 2016 and, over the years, they went viral. Currently, her channel Like Nastya -in which the minor recounts her life- has more than 87.5 million subscribers.
According to Forbes, Nastya added earnings of 28 million dollars in 2021. The little girl -and her parents- closed a deal with Spotter (the startup that has paid 350 million dollars to all its content creators) to sell her the rights of monetization of your old videos, but saving the possibility of retaining the rights of any new audiovisual product that you publish.
In addition to the Spotter deal, Nastya has endorsements from companies like Dannon and Lego. Radzinskaya’s success has been such that her parents decided to settle in Florida, United States, to dedicate themselves fully to audiovisual production and to diversify the business that also has a line of toys and games for cell phones.

Meanwhile, Ryan’s videos are also broadcast on traditional channels like Hulu, Amazon Kids and Nickelodeon.
