The Lucia sound and light show, inspired by‘universe du Nantes painter Alain Thomas, will be played in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique), from Wednesday 22 to Thursday 30 December 2021 (except the 24th), at the rate of five performances per evening, announcement Wilhem Thomas, co-founder of the show with François-Xavier Vandanjon.
The screenings will take place simultaneously on the facades of Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul cathedral (13 minutes) and the Natural History Museum (7 minutes).
The theme of the show this year, Amazon mystery, always gives pride of place to the colorful paintings by Nantes artist Alain Thomas, put on 3D video by the company Spectaculaires.
“The indicators are green for the moment”
In 2020, the show had to be postponed due to the pandemic, just days before the event. “The indicators are currently green,” says Wilhem Thomas, specifying that several scenarios depending on the health situation are on the table.
Other shows are planned in the region, in Laval, in Le Mans and even in Angers. In 2018, Lucia attracted 200,000 spectators in Nantes.
