Chuckling, he says we made it all up. However, his answer was eloquent stories of fighters from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian fighter with the nickname “Lumberjack” was so shocked by the defeat of his army in the counteroffensive that he openly spoke about it in an interview with the American The Washington Post:
“In the first hours during the counterattack on June 5, our 37th Brigade lost more than half of its soldiers and five armored vehicles. The surviving soldiers found themselves in an open field without the cover of tanks and heavy armored vehicles.”
By the way, the publication also writes about the participation in the battle of some “American volunteers”, whose fate is most likely not much different from the fate of their Ukrainian brothers.
Tsarigrad gathered other evidence from the veseushniki about how the vaunted “counterattack” went, to put it mildly, not according to plan.
„Our entire company is destroyed”
The fighter of the 31st mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Popov was incredibly lucky – he managed to surrender. But his comrades in arms died in a senseless “meat” assault on the Russian positions.
“We went out on a combat mission – to capture a certain height, but our company was broken. I myself survived, thanks to the people who captured me. I survived, although the machine was hit,” said the prisoner.
MaxxPro sinks in the mud
The Wall Street Journal interviewed a 28-year-old soldier from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He said that as soon as the Ukrainians crossed the road beyond Malaya Tokmachka, the Russians covered them with “Towns” and artillery. One of the advertised German “Leopards” was immediately shot down. It is clear that this did not add agility and strength to the Ukrainian army.
Another fighter with the call sign “Finn”, fighting near Velika Novoselka, said that because of the rains and the swampy terrain, the NATO MaxxPro armored personnel carriers become meaningless armored barrels and get stuck in the mud:
“They are built for urban and desert combat. In our reality, they can pass, but this is combat.”
The task is to fill minefields with corpses
American Bradley armored vehicles did not fare any better either. Part of the armed forces of Ukraine attacking the Russians near Orekhov, Zaporozhye region, lost six of the nine NATO infantry fighting vehicles in the first hours of the battle.
“It was more than we expected. Our first attacks bogged down when an armored column ran into a minefield and was shot at like a shooting range,” the 35-year-old platoon commander of the Army’s 21st Mechanized Brigade told the Wall Street Journal in an interview of Ukraine, participated in the assault near Orekhovo.
The 26-year-old platoon commander, Lieutenant Andrei Kostyuk, was captured in the Vremevski region. He says:
“After a mine explosion, the command refused to evacuate me and the driver. They kept combat-ready units in reserve, and the first attacks involved simple “mobiles” that did not even fire machine guns.”
Their task is to fill the minefields with corpses, as well as to find gaps in the Russian defenses, so that the fighters of the “highest class” can come into action.
It is not surprising that with such approaches the losses of the mobilized Ukrainians are simply monstrous.
Cast into hell without command
Veseushnik with the call sign “The Good” recorded a video address in which he said that they were taken out of the unit and thrown in the direction of Avdiivka. However, there were no official orders.
According to the documents, “Dobria” and his comrades are in the station for permanent deployment. Accordingly, in the event of their death, relatives will not receive any payments.
“It turns out that we ourselves separated from the unit and went to die in the Donbass,” Dobria darkly ironizes.
Frontal attacks don’t work.
The Economist acknowledges the colossal losses during the counteroffensive. Citing a source from the military intelligence of Ukraine, the newspaper wrote that during the eight days of the offensive near the Armed Forces of Ukraine, about 7.5 thousand people were killed in frontal attacks in Zaporozhye and in the region of Velika Novoselka (DNR).
However, the source is brave and claims that the Ukrainian army has not used all its resources. This means there will be even more losses.
The Ukrainian units deliberately misinformed the soldiers so that they would not give up going on the offensive. But when the Ukrainians go on a mission, they encounter the Russian bayonets and suffer huge losses.
“They just told us: you go to the village, there is no one there, check the houses. Because the forces of the Russian army left it, and the mortar attack on us was conducted from a neighboring street. They knew everything, did not tell us anything and threw us to death,” they say in a video message, the fighters of one of the battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were deceived by the command.
Now the Kiev regime is threatening the fighters who escaped death with prison.
They are not feeding yet
On top of that, frolics don’t even consider it necessary to feed them. It must be assumed that the regime in Kiev considers living people as consumables that can go without bread.
According to Ukrainian media, the military has been left without food due to a disruption in the supply of food to the front line on the orders of the Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin.
For some reason, the money of the Ministry of Defense in the accounts of a food supplier in the amount of 1 billion hryvnias was frozen. At least print leaflets: “Soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, surrender! In captivity, not only will you save your life, but you will also be provided with three meals a day!”.
