The emotional atmosphere exploded when the police visited the home of a 10-year-old boy in Pekanbaru, a victim of torture and abuse by his stepfather. The boy demanded severe punishment for the offender.
A Riau police team, led by Dirreskrimum Kombes Asep Darmawan, visited Mr. (10) at his family’s home in Pekanbaru on Wednesday (10/26/2022) evening. The police brought a series of aids to alleviate the needs of MR, who is now paralyzed, from wheelchairs to toys.
Arriving home and meeting MR, Kombes Asep immediately chatted with ease. Sometimes Asep asks about MR’s goals and wishes as he grows up.
Furthermore, Asep asked about the incident that happened to MR. It was then that MR immediately expressed his heart to Asep, who sat just to the left of MR.
“He’s in prison for life, sir,” MR told Asep demanding that his stepfather, ZK, be arrested immediately, as reported by seconds North Sumatra.
Hearing that sentence, Asep and his staff remained silent. The atmosphere in the house became silent for a moment.
