Couple Found Dead In OYO Hotel: Dead bodies of 2 people have been found in OYO Hotel in Jaffrabad, Delhi. The deceased have been identified as married girlfriend Ayesha and her lover Sohrab. Police have also found a suicide note from the incident site, in which both of them have written about ending their lives.

Delhi Police reached the spot and said that on October 27, at 08:05 pm, information was received about the presence of two dead bodies in room number 302, on the third floor of Oyo Hotel Kings Stay, near Maujpur Metro Station. After investigation, the police found out that Sohrab was a resident of Meerut and Ayesha was a resident of Basant Kunj. He checked in to OYO Hotel at 1:02 pm.

Both of them had booked the room for 4 hours. But when he did not come out even after the time was over, the hotel staff knocked at the door at around 7:45 pm. But when there was no response from inside, the police was immediately informed.

The room was opened in the presence of police
When the police arrived, they saw a shocking scene. Sohrab was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a nylon rope. Ayesha was found lying dead on the bed. There were some injury marks on his neck. Police have expressed suspicion that Sohrab (the boyfriend) may have committed suicide after murdering his girlfriend.

A suicide note of half a page (in Hindi) was found on the bed next to Ayesha. It reads, ‘Both loved each other and decided to end their lives together.’

Ayesha’s husband is being interrogated
Crime branch team and FSL team have reached the spot. CCTV footage of the reception and staircase is being examined. Ayesha has two children, a 9-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, while her husband Mohammad Gulfam (28 years) sells gym protein supplements. Ayesha’s husband is also being interrogated. Further action will be taken after post mortem tomorrow. Efforts are being made to contact the family of Sohrab (deceased). Further investigation is ongoing.
