The Lost Wild, a survival game with dinosaurs, won an unprecedented trailer this Friday (29). The title is developed by Great Ape Games and published by Annapurna Interactive, which released Stray recently (the kitty game).
The trailer hints that dinosaurs will be the enemy. With the first-person view, the player will need to explore a prehistoric forest, hide from animals and look for supplies – all with the help of a compass, only. It will also be possible to use beacons to defend against Jurassic giants. Watch the video:
Although dinosaurs are a threat, they do not behave like monsters, but rather like wild animals. Naturally, the player will be able to serve them as a meal — and this is what we will have to avoid, with the help of fire and non-lethal weapons (that is, apparently, we will not be able to shoot with revolvers, shotguns or other firearms).
The game description on the Steam page says the following:
“A survival horror adventure about overcoming nature’s most formidable life forms. Explore research facilities overgrown with vegetation in a stunning forest. Use your ingenuity, intimidate, flee and reveal the mystery of the island’s heart.”
The Lost Wild is set to be released in 2024, only for PC. You can now access game page on Steam and add it to your wish list.
