[Animal News]Don’s paparazzi “Kobe” who went missing in Wan Chai 3 days ago returned home safely. The smart Kobe did not go far, but hid in Lee Tung Street where he usually walks and plays. At about 1:00 am today, when a dog friend took his dog to Lee Tung Street, his dog found and recognized Kobe, so he kept going. Barking, the dog friend also recognized Kobe, and immediately contacted the dog owner Jeremy to recognize him. Jeremy came and yelled Kobe’s name, and Kobe ran to him, and the dog and man reunited safely.
Kobe was only about 10 months old. He got lost off his dog leash while walking at 8:30 pm on March 17. At that time, he was hit by a taxi and ran down the Kennedy Road with fright and injuries. Jeremy, a foreign dog owner, and a group of dog friends have been looking for Kobe everywhere these days.
At 1:30 this morning, when a dog friend took his dog for a walk on Lee Tung Street, the dog suddenly kept barking. It turned out that the dog was a friend who often played with Kobe, because he found Kobe hiding in Lee Tung Street. Although Kobe was frightened and lost, he did not run around. Instead, he knew how to return to Lee Tung Street where he usually walks, which is only one street away from Jeremy’s house.
The dog friend recognized Kobe and immediately contacted Jeremy. Jeremy ran to the scene. When he called Kobe’s name, Kobe ran to him.
Jeremy reported his safety on social media, saying that he immediately took the dog to a 24-hour veterinary clinic for examination. Fortunately, the dog was fine except for a few scratches. His weight dropped by 1.3 kg. It is estimated that he has been starving and has no food for the past few days. After returning home, he quickly ate up the meat given by the dog owner, but he dismissed the dog food. Jeremy said with a smile that this is Kobe’s usual style. He also said that he will take good care of Kobe.
