A technical demo for a game Mario Kart No Game Boy Advance which was issued to Nintendo arrived online. Mario Kart: Super Circuit would become one of the best-selling games on the system and is the most financially successful Game Boy Advance title that is not part of the Pokémon franchise. Mario Kart: Super Circuit continues to live on in the DLC tracks of Mario Kart 8 Deluxebut at some point there may have been another entry in the series about the Game Boy Advance.
the account of Forest of Illusion No Twitter announced that he had kept Mario Kart XXL, which is a technical demo for another Mario Kart game for the Game Boy Advance. As Forest of Illusion reveals on his website, Mario Kart XXL was developed by Denaris entertainment software and it originally started as a demo for a different game called R3Dbefore being repurposed as a Mario Kart game.
The Forest of Illusion website has more information from the creator of the game, as this was not a game loss situation (Nintendo Gigalee), but rather a case where the game was released for retention reasons.
Mario Kart XXL is just a single level and barely works like a game, so it’s more of a historical curiosity than anything else. It is interesting to think what would have happened if Nintendo had moved on with a second Mario Kart game on the Game Boy Advance, or if it had allowed the use of another license, such as F-Zero or Diddy Kong Racing.
