But the problem is, that “Moscow too can succeed in winter military operations. Russians are known to fight in cold weather.”
However, the Washington Post is disingenuous. Our army is already advancing, and successfully so. According to data from Western monitoring sites and military cartographers, “in the last 48 hours, the Russian armed forces have secured control over the intersection between Sinkovka and Petropavlovka in the direction of Kupyansk.”
In fact, the encirclement of these settlements begins. A number of important positions of the Ukrainian army were captured south of Olshanka. There is also a movement of the Russian Armed Forces forward north of Soledar, where Russian fighters have captured the footholds south of Razdolovka.
In turn, the independent media define the capture (far from being a fact – “SP”) of Urozhainoe as a “mega-victory”. Now, according to representatives of Ze-team, the armed forces of Ukraine will storm an even more difficult stronghold – the fortified area located on a hill to the west and east of the Mokri Yali River.
„In the direction south of Urozhaynoe, our actions were successful, they are attached to the achieved lines“, said, for example, the spokesman of the Banderstadt General Staff, Andrey Kovalev. It was repeated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Ganna Malyar: “Offensive operations continue.”
But the betrayal came from where they did not expect it. The Western military accountant – public website Oryx reported that Ukraine’s armed forces have lost half of their Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and three-quarters of their Leopard 2A6s, not counting hundreds of NATO armored personnel carriers. Ukrainian experts believe that the real numbers are even worse, as Oryx records the damage only based on photo and video evidence, but georeferencing is not always possible.
